Some journeys start with a plan, but Jiji’s Ghee began with a purpose—the pursuit of pure, authentic, and lactose-free ghee.

It all began when I realized my children couldn’t tolerate lactose, and finding the right nourishment for them became a challenge. Goat milk wasn’t always accessible, and high-quality ghee was nearly impossible to find. The ones available either lacked purity or had a strong, lingering smell that made it unappealing. Meanwhile, traditional farming is constantly fading, and unadulterated dairy products are becoming harder to find. That’s when my husband and I decided to create something of our own—to bring back purity and ensure families like ours never have to struggle for something so essential.

Six years ago, with a small piece of land and a heart full of hope, we stepped into organic dairy farming. We sourced pure Gir cows from Rajasthan, a breed known for its rich A2 milk—low in fat yet high in medicinal properties. Unlike buffalo milk, which often has a heavy, distinct aroma, Gir cow’s milk produces yogurt that is mild and pleasant-smelling, resulting in ghee that is pure, aromatic, and deeply nourishing. Over time, we realized that this ghee not only enhanced flavor but also nurtured gut health, making digestion smoother and bringing wholesome goodness to every meal.

At first, it was just for our family. But as relatives and friends tasted it, they instantly recognized the difference. What started as a necessity soon turned into a passion—a small batch of ghee that carried the warmth of home and the richness of tradition. Slowly, we grew, and with each jar shared, more families joined us in this journey toward purity.

In today’s world, where processed foods have become the norm, we often consume ingredients without knowing their long-term effects. Intolerances develop, especially in children, making it even more important to choose products rooted in nature. We understand this, and that’s why at Jiji’s Ghee, our commitment goes beyond just making ghee—it’s about restoring trust in what we eat.
